  About the Society
The Saint's International Dental Journal is the official journal Department of Dental Surgery Motilal Nehru Medical College Prayagraj Uttar Pradesh India, a Government Medical College established in India in memory of Pandit Motilal Nehru and has been affiliated with King George Medical University (KGMU) Lucknow since 2005. The President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, officially inaugurated Motilal Nehru Medical College Prayagraj on 5 May 1961, a day before Pandit Nehru's 100th birthday, and the British District Jail campus in South Malacca was initially acquired for the college. The Medical Council of India recognizes the college for providing undergraduate, postgraduate & Super-Specialities degree/diploma level medical education in various specialties. The Government of India has decided to upgrade Motilal Nehru Medical College Prayagraj on the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences as part of Phase-3 of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), under which the central government will bear 80% of the cost of up-gradation and 20% cost will be borne by the state government.

The Saint's International Dental Journal official journal of Dept of Dental Surgery, Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a peer-reviewed online journal with Yearly print on demand compilation of issues published. The journal's full text is available online at https://www.sidj.org. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.

Digital Archiving

Wolters Kluwer Medknow provides for long-term digital preservation through two primary partnerships, Portico and CLOCKSS.

Portico is a leading digital preservation service worldwide. The content is preserved as an archival version and is not publically accessible via Portico, but is provided when required under specific conditions, such as discontinuation of the collection or catastrophic failure of the website.

CLOCKSS will enable any library to maintain their own archive of content from Wolters Kluwer Medknow and other publishers, with minimal technical effort and using cheaply available hardware.

Ahead of Print policy

Articles published online under the Ahead of Print model are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. Wolters Kluwer Medknow has a policy that changes will not be made after publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record.

Advertisements

While advertisements are crucial to this journal to be able to keep all content free for everyone, ethical considerations are in place to ensure the integrity of the journal and its content:

  • "Pop-up" and "banner" ads appear on a random, rotating basis. The advertiser has no control or input over the pages where their ads appear.
  • The Editorial Board has full and final approval over the content of all advertisements.
  • Advertisers will never be shown any manuscripts or other content prior to publication.

  Scope of the journal

The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of comprehensive, multi-speciality basic and advanced dental care including its allied sciences like ENT, General Surgery, General Medicine,Plastic Surgery, Onco-Surgery etc. It encourage authors to submit Original Research, Reviews, Case Reports, Short Communication, CPC (Clinico-Pathologic), Letter To Editor, Book Review, Clnical or experimental Researches, subject specific boundaries (Allied Sciences) etc & will Intend to provide a wider scientific platform by upgrading the general standards but also promoting research works. Articles with Experimental & Translational Research, Innovative/Clinical Trials with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.
